Carpet and Hard-floor Cleaners

Carpet cleaning solutions is a good delivery system to incorporate Diatomix's additive product.  Applying the solution with the additive to carpet takes advantage of the exceptionally high surface area of the carpet fibers. Airborne chemicals easily collide with carpet materials and the floor location of carpet allows it to easily capture indoor light and natural outside light.

Floor polish is another suitable delivery vehicle for Diatomix's additive when applied to hard surfaces such as hardwood and luxury vinyl tile (LVT).

Carpeting and Luxury Vinyl Tile

Impregnating the Diatomix additive into carpet fiber and LVT at the manufacturing end of these products is an efficient way to "permanently" incorporate an air purifying capability.  An OEM arrangement for these products offers broad reach of the Diatomix technology for new building construction and renovation/replacement projects.

Air Purifiers and HVAC

PlugHeating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment perform heating and/or cooling for residential, commercial or industrial buildings. While most HVAC systems are able to dilute interior airborne contaminants such as odors from occupants, volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) emitted from interior furnishings, carpeting and chemicals used for cleaning, the residual levels can often remain high.  The Diatomix additive can be used as part of a filter system to actively adsorb and degrade VOCs.

The paint and coatings industry has been working on reducing VOCs in their paint and coatings products for several years.  Some manufacturers have developed VOC adsorbing materials, but the technical challenge has meant that only a handful of products exist today that can adsorb VOCs. None of these VOC-adsorbing products can continuously improve air quality as they become saturated over time. Advantages of the Diatomix “smart” compound is its remarkable VOC degradation rate in a continuous and self-cleaning manner
